A nd the multitudes crowding together upon him, he began to say, `This generation is evil, a sign it doth seek after, and a sign shall not be given to it, except the sign of Jonah the prophet,

As the crowds were increasing, He began to say, “ This generation is a wicked generation; it seeks for a sign, and yet no sign will be given to it but the sign of Jonah.
