a nd in like manner also, a Levite, having been about the place, having come and seen, passed over on the opposite side.

وَكَذَلِكَ مَرَّ لاوِيٌّ مِنْ ذَلِكَ المَكانِ وَرَأى الرَّجُلَ المَضْرُوبَ، فَذَهَبَ إلَى الجانِبِ الآخَرِ أيضاً.
