a nd Jesus having taken up, said, `A certain man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among robbers, and having stripped him and inflicted blows, they went away, leaving half dead.

فَأجابَهُ يَسُوعُ: «كانَ رَجُلٌ نازِلاً مِنَ القُدسِ إلَى أرِيحا، فَوَقَعَ فِي أيدِي لُصُوصٍ. فَجَرَّدُوهُ مِنْ مَلابِسِهِ وَضَرَبُوهُ، ثُمَّ مَضُوا وَتَرَكُوهُ بَيْنَ الحَياةِ وَالمَوتِ.
