a nd not being able to come near to him because of the multitude, they uncovered the roof where he was, and, having broken up, they let down the couch on which the paralytic was lying,

Non potendo farlo giungere fino a lui a causa della folla, scoperchiarono il tetto dalla parte dov’era Gesù; e, fattavi un’apertura, calarono il lettuccio sul quale giaceva il paralitico.
