I n number, all the males, from a son of a month and upward, eight thousand and six hundred, keeping the charge of the sanctuary.

وَكانَ عَدَدُ جَمِيعِ ذُكُورِهِمُ البالِغِينَ شَهراً فَأكثَرَ ثَمانِيَةَ آلافٍ وَثَلاثَ مِئَةٍ. وَكانُوا يَقُومُونَ بِواجِباتِهِمْ فِي المَكانِ المُقَدَّسِ.
