A nd Balaam seeth that good in the eyes of Jehovah to bless Israel, and he hath not gone as time by time to meet enchantments, and he setteth towards the wilderness his face;

Balaam a văzut că Domnul găseşte cu cale să binecuvinteze pe Israel, şi n'a mai alergat ca în celelalte rînduri la descîntece; ci şi -a întors faţa spre pustie.
