a nd he sendeth messengers unto Balaam son of Beor, to Pethor, which by the River of the land of the sons of his people, to call for him, saying, `Lo, a people hath come out of Egypt; lo, it hath covered the eye of the land, and it is abiding over-against me;

Por tanto, envió mensajeros a Balaam hijo de Beor, a Petor, que está junto al río Eufrates en la tierra de los hijos de su pueblo, para que lo llamaran, diciendo: Un pueblo ha salido de Egipto, y he aquí cubre la faz de la tierra, y habita delante de mí.
