a nd Jehovah hearkeneth to the voice of Israel, and giveth up the Canaanite, and he devoteth them and their cities, and calleth the name of the place Hormah.

耶 和 华 应 允 了 以 色 列 人 ， 把 迦 南 人 交 付 他 们 ， 他 们 就 把 迦 南 人 和 迦 南 人 的 城 邑 尽 行 毁 灭 。 那 地 方 的 名 便 叫 何 珥 玛 （ 何 珥 玛 就 是 毁 灭 的 意 思 ） 。
