F or Gaza is forsaken, And Ashkelon for a desolation, Ashdod! at noon they do cast her forth, And Ekron is rooted up.

فَغَزَّةُ سَتُهجَرُ، وَأشْقَلُونُ سَتُخَرَّبُ، وَأشْدُودُ سَيُطرَدُ أهلُها فِي مُنتَصَفِ النَّهارِ، وَعِقْرُونُ سَتُستَأْصَلُ.
