A nd she knew not that I had given to her, The corn, and the new wine, and the oil. Yea, silver I did multiply to her, And the gold they prepared for Baal.

(2: 10) Elle n'a pas reconnu que c'était moi qui lui donnais le blé, le moût et l'huile; et l'on a consacré au service de Baal l'argent et l'or que je lui prodiguais.
