` And He confirmeth His words that He hath spoken against us, and against our judges who have judged us, to bring in upon us great evil, in that it hath not been done under the whole heavens as it hath been done in Jerusalem,

El a împlinit astfel cuvintele pe cari le rostise împotriva noastră şi împotriva căpeteniilor noastre, cari ne-au cîrmuit, şi a adus peste noi o mare nenorocire, aşa cum nici odată şi nicăieri supt cer nu s'a mai întîmplat o nenorocire ca aceea care a venit acum asupra Ierusalimului.
