T hus said the Lord Jehovah: `Smite with thy palm, and stamp with thy foot, And say: Alas, for all the evil abominations of the house of Israel, Who by sword, by famine, and by pestilence do fall.

Aşa vorbeşte Stăpânul Domn: „Bate din palme, dă din picioare şi zi: «Vai!», din cauza tuturor urâciunilor şi răutăţilor Casei lui Israel, care va fi doborâtă de sabie, de foamete şi de molimă!
