A nd the border fourteen long by fourteen broad, at its four squares, and the border round about it half a cubit, and the centre to it a cubit round about, and its steps are looking eastward.'

And the ledge shall be fourteen cubits long and fourteen cubits broad on its four sides, and the border about it shall be half a cubit; and its bottom or gutter shall be a cubit deep and wide, and its ascent shall face the east.
