a nd narrow windows unto the little chambers, and unto their posts at the inside of the gate all round about -- and so to the arches -- and windows all round about at the inside, and at the post palm-trees.

C’erano delle finestre, con delle grate, alle camere e ai loro pilastri, verso l’interno della porta, tutto intorno; lo stesso agli archi; così c’erano delle finestre tutto intorno, verso l’interno; sopra i pilastri c’erano delle palme.
