T herefore higher hath been his stature than all trees of the field, And multiplied are his boughs, and long are his branches, Because of many waters in his shooting forth,

De aceea s-a înălţat în statură mai mult decât toţi ceilalţi copaci din câmpie. Crengile i-au crescut şi ramurile i s-au lungit, din pricina belşugului de ape care-l făcuse să dea vlăstare.
