A nd I bring them in unto the land, That I did lift up My hand to give to them, And they see every high hill, and every thick tree, And they sacrifice there their sacrifices, And give there the provocation of their offering, And make there their sweet fragrance, And they pour out there their libations.

dopo che li ebbi introdotti nel paese, per il quale avevo alzato la mano e giurato, essi volsero lo sguardo ad ogni alto colle e a ogni albero frondoso e là offrirono i loro sacrifici e là presentarono le loro offerte provocanti; là pure misero i loro profumi di odor soave e là versarono le loro libazioni.
