A nd I pass over by thee, and I see thee, And lo, thy time a time of loves, And I spread My skirt over thee, And I cover thy nakedness, And I swear to thee, and come in to a covenant with thee, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah, And thou dost become Mine.

Khi ta qua gần mầy, và nhìn mầy, nầy, tuổi mầy nầy, mầy đã đến tuổi yêu mến. Ta lấy áo ngoài ta trùm trên mầy, che sự trần truồng mầy. Phải, ta thề cùng mầy và kết giao ước với mầy, thì mầy trở nên của ta, Chúa Giê-hô-va phán vậy.
