Lamentations 1:3 ~ Plângeri 1:3

R emoved hath Judah because of affliction, And because of the abundance of her service; She hath dwelt among nations, She hath not found rest, All her pursuers have overtaken her between the straits.

După multă asuprire şi muncă grea, Iuda s-a dus în captivitate. Locuieşte printre neamuri şi nu găseşte un loc de odihnă. Toţi prigonitorii lui l-au ajuns chiar în toiul strâmtorării lui.
