Jeremiah 40:15 ~ Jeremías 40:15

A nd Johanan son of Kareah hath spoken unto Gedaliah in secret, in Mizpah, saying, `Let me go, I pray thee, and I smite Ishmael son of Nethaniah, and no one doth know; why doth he smite thy soul? and scattered have been all Judah who are gathered unto thee, and perished hath the remnant of Judah.'

Entonces Johanán, hijo de Carea, habló a Gedalías en secreto en Mizpá, diciendo: Yo iré ahora y mataré a Ismael, hijo de Netanías, y ningún hombre lo sabrá. ¿Por qué te ha de matar, y todos los judíos que se han reunido a ti se dispersarán, y perecerá el resto de Judá?
