Jeremiah 2:27 ~ Giê-rê-mi-a 2:27

S aying to wood, `My father thou!' And to a stone, `Thou hast brought me forth,' For they turned unto me the back and not the face, And in the time of their vexation, They say, `Arise Thou, and save us.'

Chúng nói với gỗ rằng: Ngài là cha tôi; với đá rằng: Ngài đã sanh ra tôi. Vì chúng đã xây lưng lại cùng ta, mà không xây mặt lại với ta. Đoạn, đến ngày hoạn nạn, chúng sẽ nói rằng: Hãy chỗi dậy, cứu lấy chúng tôi!
