L anguished hath the bearer of seven, She hath breathed out her spirit, Gone in hath her sun while yet day, It hath been ashamed and confounded, And their residue to the sword I give up before their enemies, An affirmation of Jehovah.

Cea care născuse şapte fii va fi slăbită, îşi va da duhul. Soarele ei va apune când este încă ziuă; va fi ruşinată şi umilită. Pe cei rămaşi în viaţă îi voi da pradă sabiei, înaintea duşmanilor lor, zice Domnul.
