T hey have turned back to the iniquities of their first fathers, Who refused to hear My words, And they have gone after other gods to serve them, The house of Israel, and the house of Judah, Have made void My covenant, that I made with their fathers.

Se han vuelto a las maldades de sus antepasados, los cuales rehusaron escuchar mis palabras, y se fueron tras dioses ajenos para servirles; la casa de Israel y la casa de Judá han quebrantado mi pacto, el cual había yo concertado con sus padres.
