Isaiah 24:20 ~ Jesaja 24:20

S tagger greatly doth the land as a drunkard, And it hath been moved as a lodge, And heavy on it hath been its transgression, And it hath fallen, and addeth not to rise.

Die Erde wird taumelm wie ein Trunkener und wird hin und her geworfen wie ein Hängebett; denn ihre Missetat drückt sie, daß sie fallen muß und kann nicht stehenbleiben.
