A nd the exactors of the people, and its authorities, go out, and speak unto the people, saying, `Thus said Pharaoh, I do not give you straw,

فَخَرَجَ مُذَلِّلو الشَّعبِ وَالمُشرِفُونَ عَلَيهِ وَقالُوا لِلشَّعبِ: «هَكَذا يَقُولُ فِرعَوْنُ: ‹لَنْ أُعطِيَكُمْ قَشّاً.›
