A nd it cometh to pass, at midnight, that Jehovah hath smitten every first-born in the land of Egypt, from the first-born of Pharaoh who is sitting on his throne, unto the first-born of the captive who in the prison-house, and every first-born of beasts.

A la medianoche, el Señor hirió de muerte a todos los primogénitos en la tierra de Egipto, lo mismo al primogénito del faraón que ocupaba el trono que al primogénito del que estaba cautivo en la cárcel, y a todas las primeras crías de los animales.
