A nd the Jews smite among all their enemies -- a smiting of the sword, and slaughter, and destruction -- and do with those hating them according to their pleasure,

I Giudei dunque colpirono tutti i loro nemici, passandoli a fil di spada, e compiendo un grande massacro e distruzione; fecero dei loro nemici quello che vollero.
