Esther 3:2 ~ Estera 3:2

a nd all servants of the king, who in the gate of the king, are bowing and doing obeisance to Haman, for so hath the king commanded for him; and Mordecai doth not bow nor do obeisance.

Toţi slujitorii împăratului, care stăteau la poarta acestuia, îngenuncheau şi se prosternau înaintea lui Haman, căci aşa le poruncise împăratul. Mardoheu însă nu îngenunchea şi nu se prosterna.
