a nd the queen Vashti refuseth to come in at the word of the king that by the hand of the eunuchs, and the king is very wroth, and his fury hath burned in him.

Ma quando gli eunuchi riferirono l’ordine del re alla regina Vasti, lei rifiutò di venire. Il re ne fu irritatissimo, e l’ira divampò in lui.
