a nd mighty kings have been over Jerusalem, even rulers over all beyond the river, and toll, tribute, and custom is given to them.

وَكانَ قَد حَكَمَ مَدينَةَ القُدْسِ مُلُوكٌ أقوِياءٌ وَسَيطَرُوا عَلَى كُلِّ الإقلِيمِ الواقِعِ غَرْبَ نَهرِ الفُراتِ، وَدُفِعَت لَهُمُ الجِزيَةُ وَالضَّرِيبَةُ.
