A n answer hath the king sent unto Rehum counsellor, and Shimshai scribe, and the rest of their companions who are dwelling in Samaria, and the rest beyond the river, `Peace, and at such a time:

Iată răspunsul trimes de împărat dregătorului Rehum, logofătului Şimşai, şi celorlalţi tovarăşi ai lui de slujbă, cari locuiau la Samaria şi în alte locuri de cealaltă parte a Rîului.,, Sănătate, şi aşa mai departe.
