T here is nothing in the ark but the two tables that Moses gave in Horeb, where Jehovah covenanted with the sons of Israel, in their going out from Egypt.

There was nothing in the ark except the two tables which Moses put in it at Horeb, with which the LORD had cut a covenant with the sons of Israel when they came out of Egypt.
