a nd the priests slaughter them, and make a sin-offering with their blood on the altar, to make atonement for all Israel, for `For all Israel,' said the king, ` the burnt-offering and the sin-offering.'

وَذَبَحَها الكَهَنَةُ عَلَى المَذبَحِ لِيُكَفِّرُوا بِدَمِها خَطايا بَنِي إسْرائِيلَ. فَقَدْ قالَ المَلِكُ إنَّ الذَّبَيحَةَ الصّاعِدَةَ وَذَبِيحَةَ الخَطِيَّةِ هُما عَنْ جَميعِ بَنِي إسْرائِيلَ.
