A nd Amaziah king of Judah, son of Joash, son of Jehoahaz, hath Joash king of Israel caught in Beth-Shemesh, and bringeth him in to Jerusalem, and breaketh down in the wall of Jerusalem from the gate of Ephraim unto the gate of the corner, four hundred cubits,

Iehoaş, regele lui Israel, l-a prins pe Amaţia, regele lui Iuda, fiul lui Ioaş, fiul lui Ahazia, la Bet-Şemeş şi l-a adus la Ierusalim. Apoi a spart zidul Ierusalimului de la Poarta Efraim până la Poarta Unghiului, pe o lungime de patru sute de coţi.
