` Come, we look one another in the face.' And Joash king of Israel sendeth unto Amaziah king of Judah, saying, `The thorn that in Lebanon hath sent unto the cedar that in Lebanon, saying, Give thy daughter to my son for a wife; and pass by doth a beast of the field that in Lebanon, and treadeth down the thorn.

以 色 列 王 約 阿 施 差 遣 使 者 去 見 猶 大 王 亞 瑪 謝 ， 說 ： 利 巴 嫩 的 蒺 藜 差 遣 使 者 去 見 利 巴 嫩 的 香 柏 樹 ， 說 ： 將 你 的 女 兒 給 我 兒 子 為 妻 。 後 來 利 巴 嫩 有 一 個 野 獸 經 過 ， 把 蒺 藜 踐 踏 了 。
