2 Chronicles 24:11 ~ 2 Crónicas 24:11

A nd it cometh to pass, at the time one bringeth in the chest for the inspection of the king by the hand of the Levites, and at their seeing that the money abundant, that a scribe of the king hath come in, and an officer of the head-priest, and they empty the chest, and take it up and turn it back unto its place; thus they have done day by day, and gather money in abundance.

Cuando llegaba el momento de que los levitas llevaran el cofre al secretario del rey, si veían que había mucho dinero, el escriba del rey y alguien nombrado por el sumo sacerdote venían por el arca y, luego de vaciarla, la devolvían a su lugar. Esto lo hacían diariamente, y recogían mucho dinero;
