a nd Benaiah son of Jehoiada over the Cherethite and the Pelethite, and the elder sons of David at the hand of the king.

وَكانَ بَنايا بْنُ يَهُوياداعَ مَسْؤُولاً عَنِ الكَرِيتِيِّينَ وَالفَلِيتِيِّينَ. وَكانَ أبْناءُ داوُدَ رُؤَساءَ المَسْؤُولِينَ تَحتَ إمرَةِ المَلِكِ.
