2 Kings 23:2 ~ 2 Re 23:2

a nd the king goeth up to the house of Jehovah, and every man of Judah, and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, with him, and the priests, and the prophets, and all the people, from small unto great, and he readeth in their ears all the words of the book of the covenant that is found in the house of Jehovah.

Il re salí quindi alla casa dell'Eterno, e con lui salirono tutti gli uomini di Giuda tutti gli abitanti di Gerusalemme, i sacerdoti, i profeti e tutto il popolo dal piú piccolo al piu grande; ed egli lesse alla loro presenza tutte le parole del libro del patto, che era stato trovato nella casa dell'Eterno.
