` Go, seek Jehovah for me, and for the people, and for all Judah, concerning the words of this book that is found, for great the fury of Jehovah that is kindled against us, because that our fathers have not hearkened unto the words of this book, to do according to all that is written for us.'

«Andate a consultare l'Eterno per me, per il popolo e per tutto Giuda, riguardo alle parole di questo libro che è stato trovato; poiché grande è l'ira dell'Eterno che si è accesa contro di noi perché i nostri padri non hanno ubbidito alle parole di questo libro e non hanno agito in conformità a tutto ciò che è scritto per noi».
