A nd Elijah answereth and speaketh unto the head of the fifty, `And if I a man of God, fire doth come down from the heavens, and consume thee and thy fifty;' and fire cometh down from the heavens, and consumeth him and his fifty.

Elia rispose e disse al capitano dei cinquanta: «Se sono un uomo di DIO, scenda fuoco dal cielo e consumi te e i tuoi cinquanta uomini!». E dal cielo scese un fuoco, che consumò lui e i suoi cinquanta.
