A nd it cometh to pass afterwards that David smiteth the Philistines, and humbleth them, and David taketh the bridle of the metropolis out of the hand of the Philistines.

بَعْدَ مُرورِ وَقْتٍ، هاجَمَ داوُدُ الفِلِسْطِيِّينَ وَأخْضَعَهُمْ. وَكانَتْ عاصِمَتُهُمْ قَدْ سَيطَرَتْ عَلَى بُقْعَةٍ واسِعَةٍ مِنَ الأرْضِ، فَسَيْطَرَ داوُدُ عَلَيْها.
