2 Samuel 18:3 ~ ﺻﻤﻮﺋﻴﻞ ﺍﻟﺜﺎﻧﻲ 18:3

A nd the people say, `Thou dost not go out, for if we utterly flee, they do not set heart upon us; and if half of us die, they do not set heart unto us -- for now like us ten thousand; and now, better that thou be to us from the city for an helper.'

لَكِنَّ الشَّعبَ قالَ: «لا! لا يَنْبَغِي أنْ تَأتيَ مَعَنا. لأنَّنا إنْ هَرَبْنا فِي المَعْرَكَةِ، لَنْ يَهْتَمَّ رِجالُ أبْشالُومَ بِنا حَتَّى وَلَوْ ماتَ نِصْفُنا. لكنَّكَ تُساوِي عَشْرَةَ آلافٍ مِنّا! مِنَ الأفْضَلِ لَكَ أنْ تَبْقَى في المَدينَةِ، فإنِ احْتَجْنا مُساعَدَةً ساعَدْتَنا.»
