A nd Joab cometh unto the king, and declareth to him, and he calleth unto Absalom, and he cometh unto the king, and boweth himself to him, on his face, to the earth, before the king, and the king giveth a kiss to Absalom.

Joab allora andò dal re e gli riferí la cosa. Questi fece chiamare Absalom che venne dal re e si prostrò con la faccia a terra davanti a lui; e il re baciò Absalom.
