A nd Israel putteth out his right hand, and placeth upon the head of Ephraim, who the younger, and his left hand upon the head of Manasseh; he hath guided his hands wisely, for Manasseh the first-born.

Israel şi -a întins mîna dreaptă şi a pus -o pe capul lui Efraim, care era cel mai tînăr, iar mîna stîngă a pus -o pe capul lui Manase; înadins şi -a încrucişat mînile astfel, căci Manase era cel dintîi născut.
