A nd Judah discerneth and saith, `She hath been more righteous than I, because that I did not give her to Shelah my son;' and he hath not added to know her again.

Judah recognized them, and said, “ She is more righteous than I, inasmuch as I did not give her to my son Shelah.” And he did not have relations with her again.
