A nd it cometh to pass about three months, that it is declared to Judah, saying, `Tamar thy daughter-in-law hath committed fornication; and also, lo, she hath conceived by fornication:' and Judah saith, `Bring her out -- and she is burnt.'

După trei luni, lui Iuda i s-a spus: – Nora ta, Tamar, s-a prostituat şi chiar a rămas însărcinată în urma desfrânării ei. – Scoateţi-o afară ca să fie arsă! a spus Iuda.
