Genesis 38:18 ~ Genesis 38:18

a nd he saith, `What the pledge that I give to thee?' and she saith, `Thy seal, and thy ribbon, and thy staff which in thy hand;' and he giveth to her, and goeth in unto her, and she conceiveth to him;

Then he said, “What pledge shall I give you?” So she said, “Your signet and cord, and your staff that is in your hand.” Then he gave them to her, and went in to her, and she conceived by him.
