a nd she turneth aside the garments of her widowhood from off her, and covereth herself with a vail, and wrappeth herself up, and sitteth in the opening of Enayim, which by the way to Timnath, for she hath seen that Shelah hath grown up, and she hath not been given to him for a wife.

Atunci ea şi-a schimbat hainele de văduvă, s-a acoperit cu un văl şi s-a înfăşurat cu un şal, apoi s-a aşezat la intrarea în Enayim, care se află în drum spre Timna. Îşi dăduse seama că, deşi Şela crescuse, ea nu-i fusese dată de soţie.
