T hese births of Jacob: Joseph, a son of seventeen years, hath been enjoying himself with his brethren among the flock, (and he a youth,) with the sons of Bilhah, and with the sons of Zilpah, his father's wives, and Joseph bringeth in an account of their evil unto their father.

Ésta es la historia de la familia de Jacob: José tenía diecisiete años de edad, y apacentaba las ovejas con sus hermanos. El joven José estaba con los hijos de Bilá y con los hijos de Zilpa, las mujeres de su padre; y José informaba a su padre de la mala fama de ellos.
