A nd Jacob calleth the name of the place Peniel: for `I have seen God face unto face, and my life is delivered;'

وَسَمَّى يَعقُوبُ المَكانَ فَنِيئِيلَ. إذْ قالَ: «لَقَدْ رَأيتُ اللهَ وَجهاً لِوَجهٍ، لَكِنَّهُ أبقَى عَلَى حَياتِي.»
