A nd God blesseth the seventh day, and sanctifieth it, for in it He hath ceased from all His work which God had prepared for making.

Dumnezeu a binecuvîntat ziua a şaptea şi a sfinţit -o, pentrucă în ziua aceasta S'a odihnit de toată lucrarea Lui, pe care o zidise şi o făcuse.
